    Simply click on any of the links above to download the supported browser for FREE. Once the download has completed, install the browser by running the setup program.

    If you are using an older version of browser, you can still access information on BOOM website, but some information may not display properly. You may also find browsing BOOM website relatively slower and you may not able to fully utilize all features.
  2. It is recommended to use the latest version of browsers for the following advantages:
    • Fewer instance of crashing or freezing;
    • Faster page-loading; and
    • More secure from virus, malware, and browser hijacking attacks.
    To keep your browser at the latest version, you can simply turn on the browser's automatic update feature.

    To enable cookies in Internet Explorer:
    1. Click: Tools on the browser toolbar and select: Internet Options
    2. Choose the Security Page
    3. Click: Custom Level
    4. Click: Allow Cookies that are Stored in your Computer
    5. Click: OK

    To enable cookies in Firefox:
    1. Click: [Firefox] button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
    2. Select the Privacy Panel
    3. Set Firefox will: to Use custom settings for history
    4. Check mark Accept cookies from sites to enable Cookies
    5. Click: OK

    To enable cookies in Chrome:
    1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar
    2. Select Settings
    3. Click Show advanced settings
    4. In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button
    5. In the "Cookies" section, select "Allow local data to be set"
    6. Click: OK

    To enable cookies in Safari:
    1. Click menu button on the Safari toolbar
    2. Click Preferences
    3. In the "Security" section, set Accept cookies: Always / Only from sites I visit

    1. Click: Tools on the browser toolbar and select: Internet Options
    2. Choose the Security Page
    3. Click: Custom Level
    4. Enable Java Script
    5. Click: OK

    To enable JavaScript in Firefox:
    1. Click: [Firefox] button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
    2. Select the Content Panel
    3. Check mark Enable JavaScript

    To enable JavaScript in Chrome:
    1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar
    2. Select Settings
    3. Click Show advanced settings
    4. In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button
    5. In the "Javascript" section, select "Enable Javascript"
    6. Click: OK

    To enable JavaScript in Safari:
    1. Click menu button on the Safari toolbar
    2. Click Preferences
    3. In the "Security" section, select Enable JavaScript from Web content

    Screen Resolution
  1. BOOM website can be viewed on screens with a 1024 x 768 resolution, but our webpages look better on 1280 width screens.

    If your screen resolution is set lower than 1024 x 768, you may find it difficult to view and use comfortably. You could still be able to view all the contents with the use of vertical and horizontal scroll bars.
    Computer Access
  1. The reason for the difficulty you encounter in accessing our website at your office may be due to different settings of your office computer or the company's firewall. Your company may have a firewall that places restriction on which websites you can access. You may request the IT system administrator at your company to add the domains boom.com and boom.com.hk to the list of available.
    Error Messages
  1. This is a warning message that you've forgotten to logout last time or someone is using your login.

    Every time you finish with your BOOM account, you shall properly logout by:
    1. clicking the [Logout] button on the right top corner of the trading window; and
    2. closing all the browsers that you have used to access your BOOM account.

    In addition, you are recommended to:
    • keep your Login ID and Login Password confidential;
    • change Login Password periodically;
